HBI “Conversations”
Hadassah Brandeis Institute “Conversations”
The Robert I. Lappin Charitable Foundation is pleased to announce that it will serve as the North Shore coordinator of Conversations, a Hadassah Brandeis Institute (HBI) program that sparks discussion about Jewish identity and builds community by bringing authors whose work focuses on Judaism and gender, to speak to Conversations groups. The book-club style format is a combination of author presentation and lively group discussion. Books are drawn from all genres and span a wide range of themes, from relationships and families to the Holocaust and international Jewish experience.
Space is limited to no more than 35 women per group. The group will meet on Mondays, from 7-9 p.m., at Woodbridge Assisted Living, 240 Lynnfield Street, Peabody.
HBI’s fee is $180, which includes books and gathering with authors.
